April News: Wedding Fayre With A Vintage Twist – Sunday 17 April 2011

updated 21 April 2011

I had a stall at the wonderful Wedding Fayre With A Twist at Goldney Hall in Bristol on Sunday 17 April 2011. This was the first Wedding Fayre at Goldney Hall, with exhibitors sited in rooms within the main house, orangery and gardens so that visitors could get a feel for the venue and wander around the rooms, stroll through the gardens and view exhibitors in the Orangery.

There was a wide variety of exhibitors, as well as some fantastic demonstrations including make-up, hair and a performance by the University Barbershop Quartet, as well as goodie bags, which included my own special Feather & Flower Fascinators and Inspirals Contemporary Jewellery chocolates, for the first 100 brides.

Photographer Sam Gibson took some wonderful photographs of the event, including some lovely ones of some of my latest fascinator designs – thanks Sam!

March News: The Southville Centre Wedding Show – Saturday 26 March 2011

updated 28 March 2011

The Wedding Show at The Southville Centre on Saturday the 26 March 2011 was great fun – especially the vintage fashion show! The Southville Centre in Bristol is a beautiful listed Victorian building with an enclosed garden. They have been awarded a Gold standard award for their green hospitality, and have been registered as a Wedding and Civil Partnership venue since 2009.

They are holding this their first wedding show as a free event with the emphasis on locality. They aim to help prospective brides and grooms find the best of the many local businesses and artisans to help create an individual and highly personal wedding day. Fashion shows at midday and 2pm.

I had a joint stall displaying my latest Feather & Flower Fascinator designs, together with my exclusive range of designer made contemporary jewellery and bespoke wedding and engagement ring service too.

New fascinator designs include two new felt mini top hat designs, a delicate ivory rose, feather and butterfly fascinator and new straw beret style hat – photos of the new designs will be posted on this website shortly. I will also be available to talk about commissions, hen parties and to discuss my bespoke engagement and wedding ring service.

February News: Make Your Own Fascinator Hen Party

posted 21 February 2011

I had a busy February organising our ever popular Make Your Own Fascinator Hen Parties, with an event at the lovely Tart Cafe on Gloucester Road in Bristol that was attended by 16 girls who traveled down from London for the weekend. The Fascinator Hen Party was a great success with all the participants enjoying a lavish afternoon tea and creating unique stylish fascinators that they can wear with pride.
